On August 1, 2026, Boykin Spaniel owners, veterinary professionals, health organizations, vendors, and friends of the breed came together near Monroe, North Carolina, for a day dedicated to the health
and well-being of the Boykin Spaniel.
Wiggle Butts: A Boykin Palooza gave owners an opportunity to connect directly with veterinary professionals and organizations, learn more about important health issues affecting our breed, watch working Boykins in action, meet fellow Boykin families, and enjoy a day built around the little brown dogs we all love.

A Day Dedicated to Boykin Health & Community
The 2026 Wiggle Butts: A Boykin Palooza was created to bring Boykin Spaniel owners face-to-face with the people and organizations working to support the health, safety, and well-being of our dogs.
Throughout the day, attendees had opportunities to talk directly with veterinary professionals, learn about emergency and specialty veterinary care, explore pet insurance and DNA testing resources, connect with rescue and health organizations, and watch Boykin Spaniels doing what they love through retriever demonstrations.
Just as importantly, the symposium gave Boykin owners a chance to meet one another, ask questions, share experiences, and build connections within the community.
