The Boykin Spaniel Health Organization Launches as a New 501(c)(3) Non-Profit
Dedicated to the Health and Well-being of Boykin Spaniels
Lecanto, Florida – June 14, 2024 – Today marks the official launch of The Boykin Spaniel Health Organization, a newly established 501(c)(3) pending non-profit dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Boykin Spaniels. Chartered in the state of Florida, the organization aims to educate current and potential Boykin Spaniel owners about preventable diseases, support research initiatives, and assist with individual hardship cases as appropriate.
The Boykin Spaniel Health Organization is the brainchild of Teresa Bell, a passionate advocate for the breed. "By formally organizing as a 501(c)(3), we will continue the work that started with IVDD in the Boykin Spaniel (boykinivdd.com) and expand our focus to include other health conditions while enhancing our fundraising abilities," said Bell.
