A group of like minded Boykin Spaniel owners who care deeply about the breed health joined together formally in 2024 to form
the Boykin Spaniel Health Organization, Inc. with the mission "to create awareness, educate, provide hardship support for life threatening cases (#Kona's Legacy) and provide research data if needed for further studies of the diseases and most importantly, furnish information for pet parents to be able to be the best dog parent they can be."

On June 21, 2024, the Boykin Spaniel Health Organization, Inc. was approved by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a tax exempt corporation under the IRC Section 501 (c)(3) and classified as a public charity.
We are therefore qualified to receive tax deductible contributions Under IRC Section 170. Also we are qualified gifts, devices, transfers or bequests under IRC Section 2055, 2106 or 2522.
